Quadeca performs at Motorco Music Hall

The sails rose as the mast took shape, pulled taut against the swelling wind. Waves battered the hull, the ship moving towards the horizon. That horizon, fittingly, is Vanisher, Horizon Scraper—the newest voyage from Quadeca. Quadeca stood at the helm, and we—his crew—were ready to follow. As the music began, so did the journey. A journey across the ocean and past the horizon.

A poetic intro, but in all seriousness, the concert was an experience. Quadeca set the stage with a mast and the sound of crashing ocean, transforming Motorco Music Hall into a sailing ship at sea. The imagery was unparalleled, and the crowd matched that energy.

Everyone knew songs word for word, not just from his newest release, but also from his entire collection of five studio albums. Throughout the show, Quadaca brought in the crowd to sing, acting as a chorus for songs like “NATURAL CAUSES.” It was amazing to see everyone come together for songs and really become one.

To backtrack a little, if you’re not familiar with Quadaca, I’ll provide some context for his musical journey. His journey began as a FIFA (A Soccer video game) YouTuber. While making FIFA videos, he also recorded diss tracks. One of his most popular was his KSI diss track called “Insecure” back in 2019. After this, he started to create more music. His first studio album was Voice Memos in 2019, which was followed by From Me to You in 2021. One of his biggest releases that gained him a lot of traction was I Didn’t Mean to Haunt You in 2022. This album really solidified Quadeca as more than just a YouTube rapper but a “real” artist. The album had a developed narrative and a unique sound that many fans hadn’t heard before. From there, his unique sound developed with my personal favorite release SCRAPYARD, coming out in 2024, and finally, his newest release, Vanisher New Horizon in 2025.

Throughout the concert, I constantly heard the phrase Qua-did. Starting as a YouTuber disstracker and now having such polished albums, I can only agree that Qua-did. His musical journey is unique in many ways, and his community has supported him along the way. As he continues to create, I can’t wait to see what direction he takes and how he continues to develop. If you ever have the chance, make sure to check out this rising artist as he continues to create.
