This week's 9/17 Thursday Night Feature is Hot! Dope! Fresh! As referenced by the title tonight will feature the hottest, dopest and freshest tracks from underground/indie/unsigned hip hop and R&B; artists as well as some known unknown mainstream favorites.

There will be exclusive world wide premieres of new tracks from two very different artists:
TrapSTAR, Greenville, SC native who is signed to Charlamange Tha God's Stupid Dope Moves record label. (
Royal-Tee, Charlotte, NC native who is signed to indie label Street Dreamaz. (
I have been promised by both labels that the new tracks are exclusives especially for tonight's show and will be the first time they are played on the radio!!

Scheduled Interviews:
L.E.G.A.C.Y.: Affliate of NC's Hall of Justus (formerly The Justus League) and now Baltimore resident. His new album Suicide Music brings memories of the horror-core hip hop of The Gravediggaz. L.E.G.'s recent mixtape NC Chainsaw Massacre is considered by many to be an underground classic.

Grind City: Gray Court, South Carolina hip hop collective of talented emcees, DJs, and graphic artists. These guys are for those who live for trap hop.

Young Scolla aka Barack Scobama: Detroit emcee who in addition to heading an independent label has started a fashion line and produces several Detroit fashion events.
There may also be a 4th interview with a national recording artist! It all starts at 9pm, hosted by Nanci O.

On Friday's Inside Track, where new albums are played in their entirety, we'll listen to the sweet new compilation from Sublime Frequencies entitled, "Siamese Soul: Thai Pop Spectacular, Vol. 2 1960s-1980s". 9pm.

And finally, on Sunday at 6pm, tune in to listen to the UNC Student Body President Jasmin Jones and members of her executive board and cabinet discuss student government issues and events around UNC.

Tune in to this week's Thursday Night Feature to hear some of the music that will soon resound through Storybook Farm in Chapel Hill during Progday 2009. Progday is a local progressive rock festival that showcases bands from as close as Raleigh to as far as Norway and Japan. Hosted by Howie H, 9pm.

On Friday's Inside Track, where new albums are played in their entirety, we'll listen to the long-lost soul album from 24-Carat Black, reissued from the original tapes by Philly archivists Numero Group. 9pm.

This week's Thursday Night Feature is another installment of Who Got Next? hosted by Nanci O. The feature will showcase up and coming artists from all over the United States in hip hop and r&b;. These are artists that may not be known mainstream wise but have heavy buzz and are moving units on the indie, underground & unsigned scene.
